The offer of a German course for employees of our company is not new: In 2023 we already made it possible for colleagues to learn or improve their German in the rooms of the Dammer Berge educational center in Damme.

Since the end of October we have been offering a new language course free of charge for employees - in cooperation with our "neighboring company" at our location in the "Rienshof" industrial area in Mühlen, the M Food Group.

"In the summer we met with a few companies and firms here locally and considered whether we wanted to work together on one topic or another. With the M Food Group we have now jointly organized a German course for employees. This saves time and money for both sides and is also a lot of fun for the participants," reports Vera Dettmer, Head of Human Resources at Burwinkel Kunststoffwerk GmbH.

Around ten employees from both companies now meet on a total of 15 dates a week for one and a half hours in one of Burwinkel's training rooms. A lecturer from the Damme educational institute teaches the participants. Organizing the trips to Damme is no longer necessary. "It's a great thing for everyone involved," says Dettmer. And a good example of practical cooperation on site and the integration work of both companies.
